Perth’s Prime Laundry is an industry leader poised for further growth. Their previous business software solution lacked the ability to take the company forward. What was needed was a solution to help with their expansion plans, and ideally a technology partner who could handhold Prime Laundry through the process of implementing a better, more open system. Prime Laundry is all about efficiencies. Efficiencies which needed to be gained, maintained and improved if they were to remain ‘first in linen laundry and dry cleaning’.

Setting up the Sybiz Visipay payroll solution to receive data from the time and attendance system was the first milestone. The goal of making these applications work together to avoid rekeying data and achieve better information sharing was met early on in the project. Prime Laundry estimate they are on target to save over $10,000 a year from this synergy between systems alone.
‘We expect to save at least a further $12,000 a year thanks to Sybiz Vision, the accounting solution’ says Johnson. These savings will be due to better cost tracking and ease of use in all accounting and reporting areas.

The icing on the cake is the Business Intelligence Centre (BIC) which pulls together all of Prime Laundry’s information and presents it in real-time to the people who need to see it. This was the transparency component so vital to the expansion of the business. The Business Intelligence Centre gave Prime Laundry’s management team an opportunity to get ‘one version of the truth’ in terms of the financial and business reporting required to make effective decisions. Not only was the Sybiz Software solution efficient, but it was also effective and on budget.
Minimum disruption and maximum results is the best way to describe the overall project to make Prime Laundry a prime candidate for growth. An efficient and effective solution which will help them both now and in the future is another.
