Microsoft began investigating a breach of their Cloud Service in Mid June. The breach became apparent as a US Federal Civilian agency advised of suspicious activity in their emails. Microsoft have since attributed the breach to Chinese Threat actors with an espionage focus. Currently the full extent of all parties affected has not bee advised.
